MUNIU Driving Assistance Devices

Hand Control

Function: Hand controls are devices that allow drivers to operate the gas and brake pedals using their hands instead of their feet. These are particularly useful for individuals with lower limb disabilities or those who have difficulty using their legs for extended periods.

Operation: Typically, pushing the hand control forward activates the brake, while pulling it back controls the accelerator. This system allows for precise control of the vehicle’s speed and braking using hand movements.

Left Foot Accelerator Pedal

Function: The left foot accelerator pedal is designed for drivers who cannot use their right foot to operate the gas pedal. This adaptation allows the driver to use their left foot to control the accelerator, making driving more accessible for individuals with right leg disabilities or amputations.

Operation: The left foot accelerator is installed on the left side of the brake pedal and functions the same way as the standard right foot pedal, allowing the driver to accelerate the vehicle comfortably and safely with their left foot.

Steering Spinner Knob

Function: A steering wheel spinner knob provides additional leverage and ease of use for turning the steering wheel, especially useful for drivers with limited hand strength or dexterity. It allows for smoother and more controlled steering with one hand.

Operation: The spinner knob attaches to the steering wheel, enabling the driver to make quick and easy turns. This is particularly beneficial for making sharp turns or parking, providing better control and reducing the effort required to maneuver the vehicle.
